⦁ Kanchenjunga: Who hasn't heard of "Kanchenjunga", the third highest mountain in the world. This mountain range of the great Himalayas partially lies in Sikkim and Nepal and encompasses 16 peaks over 7,000 m (23,000 ft).

⦁ Jaintia Hills: How about spelunking in the longest natural cave of India? Jaintia hills consists of a number of shallow and long caves out of which "Krem Liat Prah" is one of the known longest caves. These hills in the Meghalaya are filled with limestone deposits.
No adventure lover would let this go off.
⦁ Unakoti Hills: Unakoti(1 less than a crore) is a place of archeological wonder that hosts a shaiva pilgrimage site in Tripura. Unakoti consists of huge rock-cut Sculptures of lord Shiva and several murals where the history of how they were made is still a mystery.
It is surrounded by the deltaic Bangladesh and is also known as "the Queen of Hills".
⦁ Dzukou Valley: Popularly known as "Valley of Flowers of the North East", Dzukou Valley is located at the border of Nagaland and Manipur. This place is a perfect destination to get lost in the blissful serpentine streams, undulating emerald green hills covered with exotic flora like with lilies, aconitum, euphorbia and multi-coloured rhododendrons.
Dzukou valley is well known for its seasonal flowers and fauna.

⦁ Dawki: Welcome to the India-Bangladesh Open Border, lake Dawki. Oh my God! This is not lesser than a fairyland. Dawki is an emerald coloured lake with water spotlessly so clear that a floating boat on it seems like flying.
The image of this levitating boat is enough to awestruck.
⦁ Gurudongmar Lake: Known as one of the highest lakes in the world, this insanely beautiful lake is located in the North Sikkim close to Indo-Tiet order. It is located at an altitude of 17,100 ft and is just 5kms away from the chinese border. This lake freezes during the winters except at one spot, where the locals believe that its holy water is supposed to miraculously bless childless couples with kids.

Enduring a symbol of honesty and mutual trust, the people of Mizoram with strong ethics follow this distinctive way of buying and selling. The shops display an array of vegetables, fruits and many more along with their respective rate cards. The customers deposit money in the money bag for the things they purchase and also they can pick up the change due to them from the same bag.

⦁ The cleanest village in Asia: Cleanliness is next to Godliness! The people of Mawlynnong village in Meghalaya have made it a paradise. Mawlynnong is referred to as "God's Own Garden" and it has won the acclaim of being the cleanest village in Asia in 2003.
They have put efforts on making use of every possible thing from the raw nature in order to beautify their place which makes it truly worth visiting.
⦁ Living Root Bridges: Meghalaya comprises of skillful architects of nature, the Khasi and the Jaintia tribes who will astonish you with what they have handmade from aerial roots of Rubber Trees, The Living Root Bridges! An amazing natural wonder. This is a continuous process that goes on as the roots decay and get destroyed during monsoon. Hence it takes approximately 15 years for a new root bridge to become strong enough to bear human weight.

⦁ The Kaziranga National Park: Covering an area of 2/3rd of the world's total population, The Kaziranga National Park of Assam is famous for the endangered one-horned rhinoceros. This place is a home to highest density of Tigers especially The Royal Bengal Tiger, wild Asiatic water buffalo, swamp deer, wild elephants, sambar and other variety of mammals as well as plenty of flora and over 250 species of avifauna.
Kaziranga was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its distinctive natural environment.
⦁ Majuli Island: The World's largest freshwater island is located in the mighty Brahmaputra River in Assam being the 1st island district of India.
